Hi Ali,
Here's where we're at so far....
February 6, 2007
In Progress
- Halfway through entering the 10th century.
- Google Maps extension successfully added and tested on some islands (see Main Page).
- Saxon Genealogies roughed in from the A-SC text, and turned into a .pdf document (ditto).
- Calendar skeleton roughed in (ditto ditto); dates being noted on paper from 900 onwards.
Planned
- Finish A-SC data entry by Feb. 16 (or earlier if possible).
- Retrace pre-900 entries for potential Calendar entries.
- Add Anglo-Saxon link to all entries and create pages for original text (see 938 for example).
- Create "General" pages for Natural Events, Popes, Kings (subdivided Saxon and Viking), Battles, Treaties, etc.
- Begin individual pages for well-known people, i.e. King Alfred, Augustine, Edward the Confessor, etc.
- Begin dictionary of unusual terms, i.e. calends, ides, nones, etheling, etc.
